Lori Albright is an insightful, compassionate, and resourceful board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years caring for people with serious psychiatric illness, across acute inpatient units, partial-hospitalization and intensive-outpatient programs, and private practice. At Southeastern Executive Health she works in close collaboration with Dr. Clements, bringing the same evidence-based standard of care to patients who want to be seen soon.

Lori began her nursing career in a surgical intensive care unit before finding her passion in psychiatric care. Her path runs through Charter Psychiatric Hospital in Las Vegas, Huntington Hospital on Long Island, Belmont Behavioral Hospital in Philadelphia, and Footprints to Recovery in Wayne, PA, before she joined Southeastern Executive Health in January 2020. A registered nurse since 1991, she earned her BSN at Kent State University and her MSN as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Cincinnati, and is recently certified in geriatric psychiatry through the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry, adding focused expertise in the mental health of older adults.

She has extensive experience caring for individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, and addiction, and specializes in medication management for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use, and co-occurring conditions. Her care prioritizes the client–provider relationship, readily involving family, support systems, and other treating providers, and pairs careful prescribing with practical support drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

Away from the practice, Lori is usually on the sideline of one son’s baseball games or in the audience for the other’s theater and music performances. She finds solace in gardening, hiking, and time with family. She grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, received her education in Ohio, and has lived mostly in the Philadelphia area, with stints in Las Vegas, Long Island, and West Africa.

For many new patients, Lori is the front door to the practice: the fastest way into the same collaborative, evidence-based care the practice is built on.
