Fees & How Our Practice Works
Southeastern Executive Health is a private-pay practice. We are out-of-network with all insurance plans and are not enrolled with Medicare. Your exact fees are set out in writing in your patient agreement, which you receive and review before your first appointment. No surprises.
Why patients choose private-pay psychiatry
Working outside insurance means your care is decided by you and your clinician, not by what a plan will authorize. Visits are long enough to do the work properly, scheduling is direct, and nothing about your treatment is shaped by a billing code. It's the model often called concierge psychiatry: a practice deliberately kept small, so the people we see get genuine attention.
Just as important: we are not built to keep you here. Our aim is meaningful improvement, not indefinite treatment. With careful evaluation, the right medication, and steady follow-up, we coordinate ongoing care back to your primary care physician when the time is right. If longer-term care with us is what you want, you're welcome to stay. Either way, the treatment plan serves you, not the practice.
Visit types
| Visit | Typical length |
|---|---|
| Initial psychiatric evaluation | 60 min |
| Medication management follow-up | 30 min |
Fees are provided in writing with your patient agreement before your first appointment. Out-of-network; superbill available for reimbursement; visits are typically HSA/FSA-eligible.
Insurance, superbills & HSA/FSA
Although we don't bill insurance, many patients receive partial reimbursement through their plan's out-of-network benefits. After your visit we can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt you submit to your insurer). Visits are also typically eligible for HSA and FSA funds. A good-faith estimate under the No Surprises Act is available on request.
Do you take insurance?
No. We are out-of-network with all insurance plans and not enrolled with Medicare. You pay the practice directly, and we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Visits are typically HSA/FSA-eligible, and your exact fees are provided in writing before your first appointment.
What does private-pay or concierge psychiatry mean?
It means the practice works for you, not an insurance company. We keep the practice small, visits unhurried, and treatment decisions between you and your clinician. You pay directly per your patient agreement, and we provide documentation (a superbill) for any out-of-network reimbursement your plan offers.
