Focused psychiatric care, without the wait

A deliberately small private-pay practice for adults. Seen in person in Chadds Ford or by secure video, usually within days. Here is what we do.

Psychiatric Medication Management

Careful, unhurried medication care for adults: a thorough initial evaluation, the right medication at the right dose, and steady, goal-focused follow-up. When it makes sense, we coordinate your ongoing care back to your primary care physician. Most patients are seen by Lori Albright, CRNP, in close collaboration with Dr. Clements.

Medication management is the core of the practice: thorough evaluation, evidence-based prescribing, and follow-up that actually follows up. Care is delivered in person in Chadds Ford or by secure video, with the goal of meaningful improvement over time rather than open-ended treatment.

We treat adults across the common presentations that respond well to medication: depression, anxiety, bipolar and other mood disorders, OCD, ADHD, insomnia, and addiction and co-occurring conditions among them. Your first appointment is a full 60-minute evaluation, not a rushed intake. From there we choose a medication and dose deliberately, review how it is working at unhurried follow-ups, and adjust in pursuit of the specific goals you set together.

When the time is right, we coordinate your ongoing care back to your primary care physician, so you are not tied to a specialist visit indefinitely. If you would rather continue with us, you are welcome to. Either way, the plan is built around the goals that matter to you.

Do you take insurance?

No. We are out-of-network with all plans and not enrolled with Medicare. You pay directly per your patient agreement, and we provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Visits are typically HSA/FSA-eligible.

Psychiatric Evaluation & Second Opinions

A thorough diagnostic evaluation: unhurried, evidence-based, and direct. Many of our patients arrive after seeing several providers without clear answers; complex and treatment-resistant presentations, including OCD and addiction with co-occurring conditions, are a particular strength of Dr. Clements's practice.

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is where good treatment starts. We take a full 60 minutes to understand your history, your symptoms, what has been tried before, and what you want from care. You leave with a clear diagnosis and a plan written in plain language, not a five-minute checklist and a prescription.

Many of the people we see arrive after cycling through several providers without clear answers. Complex and treatment-resistant presentations, including OCD, are a particular strength of Dr. Clements’s practice, and a careful second opinion often surfaces something earlier visits missed: a diagnosis that does not fit, a medication working against itself, or a treatable condition hiding underneath another.

Whether you are starting fresh or seeking a second opinion on a plan you already have, the goal is the same: an honest, thorough read of what is going on and a direct path forward.

How soon can I be seen?

New patients typically begin with Lori Albright, CRNP, which is the fastest way into the practice. She and Dr. Clements collaborate on every case. The main thing that sets your start date is how quickly the intake forms are completed, so we send those right away.

Psychotherapy

Evidence-based talk therapy provided personally by Dr. Clements, including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. A focused option for patients who want therapy and medication care guided by the same psychiatrist.

Psychotherapy at the practice is provided personally by Dr. Clements. For patients who want talk therapy alongside, or instead of, medication, working with a psychiatrist who does both means your therapy and any prescribing stay coordinated under one clinician rather than split across a team.

The work is practical and evidence-based, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and shaped around specific, measurable goals you set together. Sessions are unhurried and delivered in person in Chadds Ford or by secure video.

Because Dr. Clements keeps the book deliberately small, psychotherapy is a limited, focused offering. If a different cadence or modality would serve you better, he will say so and help you find the right fit.
